Do you install WiFi at a villa with areas where the signal does not reach?
Yes. We measure the real coverage before proposing anything and fix the dead zones with a Reyee WiFi 6 Mesh network, access points where reinforcement is needed and Cat6 cable for the equipment that cannot tolerate drops, such as IP cameras, TV or workstations.
Does the alarm alert only my phone, or an operator too?
No. That service is an activity regulated by Spain’s Private Security Act 5/2014 that only a registered private security company may provide, and Dartel Solutions is not one: we neither provide nor resell it. What we install alerts your phone and the phones of the people you add, with mobile data backup in case the internet or the power is cut.
Do you need to visit for the quote?
For a flat or a shop with no building work, no: with your floor plan and four photos we send the proposal within 24-48 hours. When there is cabling, building work or a larger project, we start with a technical visit. And if you prefer us to come and see it, we come.
Which outdoor camera can I fit to watch the garden from my phone?
A fixed camera at the entrance and, if the garden is long, a bullet covering the side. We mainly install Ajax, because the camera and the alarm live in the same app: the Turret IP Camera 8 MP Indoor/Outdoor Dual Light White - Ajax for the entrance and the Bullet IP Camera 8 MP Outdoor White - Ajax for the façade. If you want to pan the camera remotely, the shop also has motorised models such as the Imou Motorized Camera Cruiser Z 5MP. The price of each model is on its product page.
Which WiFi access point do I need at home?
It depends on the size of the house and on whether cable can be run to the dead zone. With cable, a ceiling access point beats a repeater: the TP-Link Omada WiFi 7 Access Point BE3600 with 2.5G, EAP723 Management for the newest standard, or the Wi-Fi 6 Indoor Access Point 1775 Mbps - Reyee for a normal home. Which monitor do I need for an IP video intercom?
One with a touch screen that opens the door from inside the house and also alerts your phone when you are out. For IP video intercoms we work with the Akuvox Android 12.0 Monitor for Video Doorphone AK-S567A-WHITE, and when the rest of the system is already Ajax, with the Smart Video Doorbell with AI and PIR Ajax White.
