Outdoor curtain detector with dual PIR and K-band microwave, 8 to 12 m range and pet immunity up to 100 cm.
What it is and what it does
The CurtainOutdoor watches a narrow plane right against the façade: 8° horizontally and 85° vertically, 8 to 12 m. It combines dual curtain-type PIR with K-band microwave (24 GHz) and only alerts when both technologies agree. The range is chosen on the device itself: Far, Near or Pet. IP55 protection, anti-masking and remotely updatable firmware.
Who Dartel installs it for
We install it in villas and houses to detect anyone approaching a window or the terrace before they touch it. It allows pets up to 100 cm when mounted at 1 m. It is compatible with Hub 2 (2G and 4G), Hub 2 Plus, Hub Hybrid and ReX 2, not with first-generation Hubs. With a camera, look at the CurtainCam Outdoor.
How we install it
We hang it outside, at about 2.4 m high, along the façade, with its SmartBracket and its angle bracket. We add it by reading its QR code in the app, choose Far, Near or Pet depending on the area, adjust the sensitivity in front of you and check the signal before fixing it.

Frequently asked questions
Can I let the dog out at night?
If we mount it at 1 m and activate Pet mode, it is immune to pets up to 100 cm. We check it at the installation, walking in front of the detector.
Does it work with my existing panel?
With Hub 2 (2G and 4G), Hub 2 Plus, Hub Hybrid (2G and 4G) and ReX 2, yes. With first-generation Hubs, no. We check before proposing the detector.
