Outdoor photo detector for high mounting, 2 to 4 m, with dual PIR and microwave technology and image request.
What it is and what it does
The MotionCam Outdoor HighMount PhOD is installed at height, between 2 and 4 m, and covers 3 to 15 m with an 85° field. It combines a PIR sensor with a 24 GHz K-band microwave sensor, has anti-masking and three sensitivity levels. It captures images on alarm, on a smart scenario or at the customer's request, at a resolution of up to 640 by 480. It is Grade 2.
Who Dartel installs it for
We install it in villas, industrial units and shops where the detector must be out of reach of the hand, above a door or a patio. Note: it has no pet immunity, so it is not suitable where the dog crosses the field. For low mounting, there is the MotionCam Outdoor PhOD. To detect right along the façade, the CurtainCam Outdoor.
How we install it
It goes outside and high, between 2 and 4 m from the ground, oriented across the area to be watched and never towards the street or the neighbour's plot. We add it by reading its QR code in the app, set up the image request permissions with you, adjust the sensitivity and check the signal from the exact spot.

Why does it have no pet immunity?
Because, mounted at height and with microwave, it does not tell by size. If the dog usually passes in front of it, it is not the right detector and we tell you before selling it. That is what the visit is for.
Can I request a photo whenever I like?
Yes. It captures on alarm, on a smart scenario or at the customer's request, and the privacy manager lets you decide who can request it.
