What it is and what it does
The black KeyPad is the simple Ajax keypad: you arm and disarm by typing a code, without taking out your phone. It supports full arming, night mode, disarming and emergency, with a general code, a personal code for each user and a guest code. It talks to the hub over Jeweller radio, up to 1700 m in open space, and runs on four AAA batteries. It is Grade 2 and warns you if someone tries to open it. It has no card reader.
Who Dartel installs it for
We fit it in flats and houses where a code is enough, for example a family coming and going. Black suits an entrance with dark finishes. If you want to open with a key fob or card, look at the KeyPad Plus; if you want keypad and siren in one unit, the KeyPad Combi.
How we install it
It is for indoors and battery powered, so we place it next to the entrance with no cables. We add it by reading its QR code in the app, create the codes for each person and assign it to your arming group. We check the radio signal with the hub before we leave, and show you how to use it.

Frequently asked questions
Can I give each person a different code?
Yes. Each user has their own, there is a general keypad code and another guest code for visitors. That way you know who armed or disarmed, and you can delete one code without changing the others.
Do I need a specific hub?
It needs an Ajax hub with firmware 2.0 or later. If you already have yours, we check it ourselves. If not, we suggest one together with the keypad.
