KeyPad Plus keypad with reader, black

Black indoor keypad with an RFID reader: disarm with a code, an Ajax Tag key fob or an Ajax Pass card, with a panic button

What it is and what it does

The black KeyPad Plus adds a key fob and card reader to the code. You disarm by holding an Ajax Tag or an Ajax Pass to it, using Mifare DESFire technology, or by entering the code. It arms fully or in night mode, disarms and has a panic button. It communicates over Jeweller radio, up to 1700 m in open space, and runs on four lithium AA batteries. It is Grade 2 and for indoor use.

Who Dartel installs it for

This is the keypad for homes and businesses where people who are not family pass through: cleaners, employees, guests. There is no need to hand out numbers, just a key fob to each person. If a code is enough, the KeyPad is simpler. The key fobs are ordered separately.

How we install it

We screw it on indoors, next to the door you come in through, with no cables. We add it by reading its QR code in the app, link each key fob to a person by name and assign the keypad to your arming group. We check the signal with the hub. With ReX or Hub Plus, 2 and 2 Plus it needs firmware 2.11 or later.

Frequently asked questions

Can I combine a code and a key fob?

Yes, both at once. The same keypad accepts personal, general and guest codes, as well as Ajax Tag key fobs and Ajax Pass cards, each assigned to a person.

What does the panic button do?

It sends an emergency alert to the system, which reaches the phones of those you have added. It does not change the arming state or call anyone else.

Would you like us to install it?

Tell us what kind of home or premises it is and we will say what you need and what you don't. For a flat or a shop with no building work, your floor plan and four photos are enough.
