Outdoor motion detector with a camera: when it goes off, it sends up to 5 photos with infrared night mode to your mobile.
What it is and what it does
The MotionCam Outdoor is an outdoor motion detector with a built-in camera. It covers 3 to 15 m with a 90° field and, when it detects, sends up to 5 images of up to 640 by 352, with infrared lighting for the night. It has immunity to pets up to 80 cm, anti-masking, an anti-opening tamper and 3 sensitivity levels. It is Grade 2.
Who Dartel installs it for
We install it in villas and houses with a garden, terrace or side passage, so you can decide with a photo in front of you whether to react. It is part of the alarm kit for a villa. If you want to be able to request the image whenever you like, look at the MotionCam Outdoor PhOD. If you only need to detect, the MotionProtect Outdoor.
How we install it
It goes outside, between 0.8 and 1.3 m from the ground, much lower than you would expect. We orient it parallel to the façade or across the access path, never towards the street or the neighbour's plot. We add it by reading its QR code in the app, adjust the sensitivity and check the signal from the exact spot.

Does it record video?
No. It sends a series of images when it detects, at a resolution of up to 640 by 352. That is enough to tell a person from an animal or the wind, not to identify anyone.
Does it see at night?
Yes. It has infrared lighting for night mode, so the images arrive even when there is no light in the garden.
