MotionProtect Outdoor outdoor detector
Outdoor motion detector with dual PIR sensor, 15 m range, pet immunity and a 90° field of view.
What it is and what it does
The MotionProtect Outdoor is a motion detector for the façade or the garden. It has two PIR sensors and only triggers when both agree, which reduces alerts caused by a branch or a change in temperature. It covers 15 m with a 90° field, has 3 sensitivity levels, immunity to pets up to 80 cm and IP54 protection. It works from -25 °C to 60 °C on two pre-installed CR123A batteries.
Who Dartel installs it for
We install it in villas, houses with a garden and shops with a patio or outdoor access, to know that someone is approaching before they get in. It is the option when detecting is enough. If you also want to see what happened, the MotionCam Outdoor photo detector sends images. It is white, for light façades.
How we install it
It goes outside, at the height stated on its datasheet, between 0.8 and 1.3 m from the ground. We orient it parallel to the façade or across the access path, never towards the street or the neighbour's plot, and away from sprinklers and the outlet of an air conditioner. We add it by QR code and check the signal from the exact spot before fixing it.

Frequently asked questions
Does it go off with the cat or the dog?
It has immunity to pets up to 80 cm tall, as long as it is placed at the right height. The cat gets by; a person does not. We check it by walking in front of it during the installation.
And if someone tries to cover it?
It has anti-masking, which alerts if someone covers it, and an anti-opening tamper that alerts if it is opened. Both alerts reach your mobile through the panel.
Would you like us to install it?
Tell us what kind of home or premises it is and we will say what you need and what you don't. For a flat or a shop with no building work, your floor plan and four photos are enough.
