Ajax Hub 2 Plus alarm kit with MotionCam HDR, white

White Ajax alarm kit with Hub 2 Plus, photo detector, contact and remote: up to 200 devices and four ways to alert you

What it is and what it does

It is chosen for what it allows later, not for what it includes today: Hub 2 Plus, a PIRCAM MotionCam HDR photo detector, a magnetic contact and a remote. The hub accepts up to 200 devices, with a cap of 10 sirens, and alerts over Ethernet, Wi-Fi and two 4G SIMs. It is Grade 2, with 868 MHz Jeweller and Wings radio, and reaches up to 1300 m in open space.

Who Dartel installs it for

It is for an estate, a villa with a guest house or a business that knows it will grow, and for areas with doubtful coverage, where four ways to alert you count. In a small house that will not be extended, the white Ajax Hub 2 alarm kit with MotionCam HDR covers the same with a lower ceiling.

How we install it

The hub goes inside the home, screwed to its SmartBracket mount, whose rear tamper means that simply resting it there is no use. It has mains power nearby, the network socket if a cable is used and the two SIMs with the PIN disabled, away from metal cabinets and more than a metre from the router. We add each device by QR code and check the signal one by one. If an area does not receive radio, we add a signal repeater.

Frequently asked questions

When does this kit pay off compared with the Hub 2 one?

When the installation is going to grow: the hub accepts up to 200 devices instead of 100 and adds Wi-Fi as an alert path. In a normal flat it is not needed.

How many alert paths does it have?

Four: Ethernet, Wi-Fi and two 4G (LTE) SIMs. If the router restarts or a stretch has poor mobile coverage, the alert goes out by another path.

Would you like us to install it?

Tell us what kind of home or premises it is and we will say what you need and what you don't. For a flat or a shop with no building work, your floor plan and four photos are enough.
