Ajax NVR 8-channel camera kit with 2 TurretCam 5 MP

What it is and what it does

This is an IP video surveillance kit with an Ajax 8-channel NVR recorder and two 5 megapixel turret cameras. The cameras connect over PoE: one network cable per camera carries data and power. At night they use infrared with a range of 50 m, have artificial intelligence and, being ONVIF and RTSP, accept other brands. The six free channels allow you to extend without changing the recorder.

Who Dartel installs it for

It is for a house or premises that wants to cover two entrances now and extend later. The turret is more discreet and goes well under the eaves; if you prefer a camera with a visor and more presence, there is the Ajax NVR 8-channel camera kit with 2 BulletCam 5 MP. The kit comes without a hard disk, which is chosen separately.

How we install it

The real work is the cabling and the height: a network cable run from the recorder to each camera, the camera high enough that it cannot be reached and low enough for the face to come into frame, avoiding direct sun. The recorder goes indoors and ventilated, with its disk fitted. We adjust the framing camera by camera and leave the app working on your phone.
