What it is and what it does
This is an IP video surveillance kit with an Ajax 8-channel NVR recorder and two 5 megapixel bullet cameras. The bullet is elongated, with a visor, and can be seen from the street. They are powered over PoE with a single network cable, have infrared with a range of 50 m and artificial intelligence, and the recorder is compatible with ONVIF and RTSP.

It is for anyone who wants the camera to be seen and to deter: an entrance, a garage or a fence at a house, a warehouse or premises. The visor protects the lens from rain and low sun. How we install it
Each camera needs its own network cable run to the recorder, which also carries the power, and a firm surface: facade, eaves or pole. The bullet is aimed at one specific stretch, such as a fence or a driveway, and the fine adjustment of the framing is half the work. The recorder stays indoors and ventilated, and we leave phone access working.

Can I start with two cameras and extend later?
Yes. The recorder has 8 channels and the kit uses two, so you can start with the entrance and the garage and add another area later without replacing the recorder.
Is a separate hard disk needed?
Yes: the kit does not include one. For continuous recording a video surveillance disk is used, which we fit and configure along with the recorder in the same visit.
