What it is and what it does
This kit brings together, in black, the four basic pieces of an Ajax alarm: the Hub, a MotionProtect motion detector, a DoorProtect magnetic contact and a SpaceControl remote. The Hub communicates with the detectors over 868 MHz radio with the Jeweller protocol and with you over Ethernet and GPRS. It is Grade 2 and accepts up to 100 wireless devices, so the box is a starting point.

How we install it
We hang the Hub inside the home on its SmartBracket mount, with mains power nearby and the SIM with the PIN disabled. The detector and the contact are placed at the height Ajax specifies: the first across the route people must take, the second on the door or window through which someone would enter. We add everything by QR code in the app and finish with the zone test and the signal test.

How many devices does it accept without changing the hub?
Up to 100 wireless devices. The four pieces in the box are the starting point: detectors, keypads or sirens are added afterwards without touching the Hub.
What is the remote for if I already have the app?
