BulletCam 5 MP 4 mm camera, black

5 MP outdoor bullet with 4 mm optics and a narrow angle, to watch a door, a passage or a car entrance in detail

What it is and what it does

The black BulletCam 5 MP 4 mm is a 5 megapixel outdoor bullet camera. Its 4 mm optics give a narrower 75° to 85° angle, so the shot gains detail in the stretch it watches. It sees at night with infrared up to 50 m, includes True WDR/HDR and is powered by PoE. It records to a recorder or to a microSD of up to 256 GB.

Who Dartel installs it for

It is the option for a specific access: the front door of a house, the side passage or the garage ramp. It is not suited to taking in a whole patio at a glance; for that there is the black BulletCam 5 MP, with 2.8 mm. We install it in flats, townhouses, villas and shops.

How we install it

We choose the point from which the access is seen head-on and fix the mount to a firm material. The camera is not wireless: we connect it by PoE network cable to the recorder, avoiding the sun head-on. We adjust the framing with the image in front of us, add it in the app and leave the recording checked.

Frequently asked questions

When is 4 mm best and when 2.8 mm?

With 4 mm the angle is 75° to 85° and the detail improves in the stretch it watches. With 2.8 mm it covers more, 100° to 110°, but distant things come out smaller. We decide by looking at the site.

Does it work over Wi-Fi?

No: it runs on a PoE network cable, which brings it data and power. To store what it sees it needs a recorder or a microSD card of up to 256 GB.

Would you like us to install it?

Tell us what kind of home or premises it is and we will say what you need and what you don't. For a flat or a shop with no building work, your floor plan and four photos are enough.
