What it is and what it does
The white BulletCam 8 MP Dual Light records at 8 megapixels (3840×2160), the resolution designed to tell a face apart and not just a silhouette. At night it has two 50 m modes, infrared or white light, and its artificial intelligence separates people, pets and vehicles. Its 2.8 mm optics open 85° horizontally. It includes a microphone and records to a microSD of up to 256 GB.
Who Dartel installs it for
We recommend it for anyone who wants to identify whoever arrives: the main entrance of a villa, the access to a shop, the door of a townhouse. The white one works on a light façade. If the wall is dark, there is the black BulletCam 8 MP Dual Light. For a narrower shot, we look at the 4 mm ones.
How we install it
We anchor the mount to a firm material, because a camera that has moved stops looking where it should. We run it by PoE network cable to the recorder or the switch, adjust the framing with the image in front of us and avoid the sun head-on. Then we add it in the app and leave it working on your mobile.

Bullet or turret for the front door?
The bullet is visible, and that deters. It is also aimed precisely at a specific point and its shield protects the lens. For the main access, where it matters that it is seen, we usually choose the bullet.
How wide does it cover?
Its field is 85° horizontally, 46° vertically and 110° diagonally. At a normal car entrance it covers from side to side; for a very long façade a second camera may be needed.
