What it is and what it does
The black BulletCam 5 MP is an outdoor bullet camera that records at 5 megapixels with 2.8 mm optics. Its 100° to 110° viewing angle takes in a façade or a patio in one piece. At night it sees with infrared up to 50 m, works with True WDR/HDR and is powered by PoE. It records to a recorder or to a microSD card of up to 256 GB.
Who Dartel installs it for
We fit it for anyone who wants to watch a wide area, such as the front of a house, a patio or a small community car park, without paying for white light. As the angle is so wide, distant things come out smaller. If you need colour at night, look at the black BulletCam 5 MP Dual Light.
How we install it
We hang the camera under the eave or in the corner that dominates the area, with the mount anchored to a firm material. We run it by PoE network cable to the recorder and adjust the framing looking at the image, without it pointing at the sun head-on. Then we add it in the app and check the recording.

Frequently asked questions
Is it good for reading number plates?
That is not its function: at 100° to 110° it sees a wide area, but detail at a distance drops. For a specific stretch, such as a door, we propose the 4 mm version, which narrows the angle.
Does it have white light to record in colour?
No. This version sees at night with infrared of up to 50 m, in black and white. If you want a colour image and a light that deters, the black Dual Light has white light built in.
