What it is and what it does
The white BulletCam 5 MP Dual Light is an outdoor camera in bullet format with a sun shield. It records at 5 megapixels (2880×1620) and at night offers two 50 m options: infrared, for a black and white image, or white light, for a colour image. Its artificial intelligence tells people, pets and vehicles apart, so it does not alert you for a shadow. It also records to a microSD card of up to 256 GB.
Who Dartel installs it for
We place it at entrances, façades and car entrances of flats, townhouses and villas, which is why it is part of our camera kits for a flat or townhouse and for a villa. The white one suits a light façade, where it blends in best. If your wall is dark, there is the black BulletCam 5 MP Dual Light.
How we install it
We fix the mount to a firm material, aim the camera at the access and adjust the framing with the image in front of us. We power it by PoE network cable to the recorder, avoiding it looking straight into the sun. The shield protects the lens from rain and low sun. Then we add it in the app and leave it working on your mobile.

Frequently asked questions
Does it see in colour at night?
Yes, with the white light, which reaches 50 m and records in colour. With infrared, also at 50 m, the image comes out in black and white and it is not obvious that the camera is looking. You choose depending on whether you want to deter or go unnoticed.
Do I need a recorder for it to store images?
Not to start with: it records to its microSD slot of up to 256 GB, without depending on the recorder being on. If you already have or want an NVR recorder, we connect it to that by the same network cable.
