MultiTransmitter 3EOL expander, black

Black MultiTransmitter 3EOL expander, NF and Grade 2 version: keeps your wired detectors and adds them to an Ajax alarm

What it is and what it does

The black MultiTransmitter 3EOL is a wired-zone expander that works by radio. It reads the inputs of your existing detectors, with NO, NC, EOL, 2EOL or 3EOL alarm, pulse or bistable, and transmits them to the hub over 868 MHz Jeweller. It reaches 2000 m in open space, detects jamming attempts and has a front and rear tamper. There are two 12 V outputs in total to power detectors, and the cable can be up to 400 m long.

Who Dartel installs it for

We fit it when the meter room, the storeroom cupboard or the technical area is dark and a white device would stand out. It is the NF and Grade 2 version, and is added to an Ajax alarm that we install ourselves. For light walls there is the white MultiTransmitter 3EOL. With a single wired detector, the Transmitter is enough.

How we install it

We fix it indoors, near a socket and the point where the detector cables end, away from metal structures. We connect the zones and the power, add it by reading its QR code in the app and assign each input to its arming group. Before we leave we check the signal and trigger each detector.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to run new cables in place of the ones already there?

No. The idea is to reuse them: they connect to the expander's inputs, which send the alert by radio. We first check that the cable and the detectors are in good condition.

Which hubs does it work with?

With Hub, Hub Plus, Hub 2 in 2G and 4G, Hub 2 Plus, Hub Hybrid, ReX and ReX 2. In the new installations we do, the Hub 2 is the usual choice.

Would you like us to install it?

Tell us what kind of home or premises it is and we will say what you need and what you don't. For a flat or a shop with no building work, your floor plan and four photos are enough.
