White Grade 3 Superior expander: brings up to 18 wired inputs from an old installation into Ajax without chasing walls
What it is and what it does
The white MultiTransmitter Grade 3 Superior makes use of the cabling that already exists. It accepts up to 18 wired inputs and sends them over Superior Jeweller and Wings radio to the hub, with a range of up to 3500 m in open space. Each input can be NO, NC, EOL, 2EOL or 3EOL, and events are classified as, for example, intrusion, fire or flood. It powers the detectors with four 12 V outputs, tolerates cable of up to 400 m and receives remote updates.
Who Dartel installs it for
We fit it in a large house, premises or a warehouse with a complete wired installation in good condition that you prefer to keep. It is added to an Ajax alarm that we install ourselves. If you only have one wired detector, the Transmitter is enough. If you are looking for an NF version in Grade 2, there are the MultiTransmitter 3EOL in white and in black.
How we install it
We fix it indoors near a socket and the box where the cables arrive, away from metal cabinets. We connect the inputs and the detectors' power supply, and fit the backup battery, which is bought separately. We add it by QR code in the app and check the signal and every zone, including the front and rear tamper.

Frequently asked questions
Does it include the backup battery?
No. It is powered from the mains and accepts a 4 or 7 Ah 12 V battery that is not included. We allow for it in the proposal and fit it ourselves inside the box.
Can I reuse the 400 m of cabling in my warehouse?
The expander accepts cable of up to 400 m with copper of 0.22 mm2 cross-section. We check the condition and cross-section of your cable before confirming that it can be reused.
