Tag key fob, white

White access key fob: you disarm by holding it to the keypad, with no code or battery, using Mifare DESFire technology

What it is and what it does

The white Tag is a contactless access key fob. You hold it to the keypad and it disarms the system, without entering anything, even with your hands full. It uses Mifare DESFire technology and has no battery. Each key fob is identified separately, so the app records who disarmed and when. It can be linked to up to 13 hubs. It measures 45 by 32 millimetres and weighs 7 g.

Who Dartel installs it for

We give it to each member of the family, to an employee or to anyone who asks us not to hand out codes. White tells one key fob from another on a bunch, and there is also the black Tag. It works with keypads that read Tag: the KeyPad Plus and the KeyPad Combi.

How we install it

It is not installed: we add it to the hub and link it to a person by name, so that the app's log is of some use. Before we leave we test each key fob on the keypad. If one is lost, it is cancelled from the app and nothing else has to be changed.

Frequently asked questions

How many key fobs does my hub accept?

It depends on the hub: 50 with Hub 2, 99 with Hub Plus and 200 with Hub 2 Plus. That is enough for a family, a work team or a small residents' community.

Does it work on its own, without a keypad?

No. It needs an RFID-compatible keypad, such as the KeyPad Plus. On its own it neither opens nor arms anything, so we check your keypad before suggesting it.

Would you like us to install it?

Tell us what kind of home or premises it is and we will say what you need and what you don't. For a flat or a shop with no building work, your floor plan and four photos are enough.
