CombiProtect Superior in black: PIR and glass break with Grade 2 and SmartBracket, for windows with dark joinery.
What it is and what it does
This Superior-range detector watches with two senses: the PIR covers 12 m with 88.5° horizontally and 80° vertically, and the microphone hears glass breaking at 9 m. It is Grade 2, ignores pets up to 20 kg and offers three sensitivity levels. It runs on a Panasonic CR123A battery, comes with the SmartBracket mount with fixing and measures 110 by 65 by 50 mm. Indoor only.
Who Dartel installs it for
It is chosen when the window joinery is dark or the detector goes on wood and a white spot would stand out, in a villa, a flat or a shop. On light walls, the CombiProtect Superior, white. If you prefer the normal range, the black CombiProtect has the same detection performance but less panel compatibility stated on its datasheet.
How we install it
At 2.4 m, in the room with the glass and with the route visible from the side. We make sure there is no thick curtain or tall piece of furniture between the microphone and the window, and that it does not point at a radiator. We add it by reading the QR code in the app, assign it to its arming group and test zone and signal.

How many are needed in a house with several windows?
One hears 9 m with a 180° aperture, so it looks after the glass in its room. One is counted per room with large windows, and we decide that with the floor plan in front of us.
Is it fine with small dogs?
Yes, it has immunity to pets up to 20 kg and 50 cm tall. We mount it high and with no furniture that could act as a step for the animal within its field of view.
