Curtain detector in black: a thin 6° barrier in front of windows and doors to arm with the home occupied, for dark frames.
What it is and what it does
This black CurtainProtect uses two PIRs to form a narrow barrier: 6° horizontally, 90° vertically and 6 to 15 m, installed at 2.4 m. It does not sweep the room: it protects the opening of a window or door. It works by Jeweller radio with up to 1700 m, has an anti-opening tamper, three sensitivity levels, IP54 protection and a CR123A battery. It has no anti-masking and measures 134 by 44 by 34 mm.
Who Dartel installs it for
We recommend it with dark joinery, in a house or a shop where the white body would be seen against the frame. With light frames, the white CurtainProtect, which states -25 to 60 °C against this one's -10 to 40 °C. To watch the glass as well, the CombiProtect Superior, black; for a whole room, a MotionProtect.
How we install it
Above the opening to be protected, at 2.4 m, oriented so that the beam drops along the glass and not into the room. We add it by QR code in the app and put it in the night arming group. Then we walk across in front to check zone and signal.
