CombiProtect Superior motion and glass break detector, white
CombiProtect Superior in white: PIR and glass break with Grade 2, SmartBracket and greater compatibility with Ajax panels.
What it is and what it does
The CombiProtect Superior is the combined detector from the Superior range: a 12 m volumetric PIR with 88.5° horizontally and a microphone that listens for glass breaking at 9 m. It is Grade 2 and its datasheet mentions an NF version. It has pet immunity up to 20 kg, three sensitivity levels, a Panasonic CR123A battery and is bought in white or black. It is indoor.
Who Dartel installs it for
We install it in high corners next to windows and shutters in homes and shops with a light ceiling and walls. With dark joinery there is the CombiProtect Superior, black. Compared with the normal white CombiProtect it adds Grade 2 on the datasheet and compatibility with Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus, Hub Hybrid and ReX. If you only need to cover one window, the CurtainProtect.
How we install it
Placement has a double requirement: the PIR wants to see the route from the side and the microphone wants to hear the glass. We fix it at 2.4 m on its SmartBracket, in the same room as the window and with no tall furniture in between. Added by QR code from the app, zone test walking the room and signal test before closing.

Frequently asked questions
Is it compatible with my panel?
Its datasheet lists Hub Plus, Hub 2 in its 2G and 4G versions, Hub 2 Plus, Hub Hybrid and ReX. If you already have an Ajax alarm, we check before proposing the detector.
Does it detect if someone covers it?
No: this model has no anti-masking. It has alarm, tamper and signal LEDs. In that high corner, with a clear field and out of easy reach, the risk is reduced.
Would you like us to install it?
Tell us what kind of home or premises it is and we will say what you need and what you don't. For a flat or a shop with no building work, your floor plan and four photos are enough.
