CurtainProtect curtain detector, white
Curtain detector in white: raises a thin barrier in front of a window or door and lets you arm with the home occupied.
What it is and what it does
The CurtainProtect watches a plane, not a room. Its beam is only 6° horizontally and 90° vertically, with a range of 6 to 15 m, and drops right against the glass like a curtain. It detects anyone trying to get through, but not anyone moving inside, which is why you can leave the alarm armed with the home occupied. It uses two PIR sensors, Jeweller radio up to 1700 m, IP54 protection and a CR123A battery.
Who Dartel installs it for
We put it on windows and terrace doors in flats and houses with light walls and frames, so you can sleep with the ground floor armed. With dark frames there is the black CurtainProtect; the white also supports temperatures from -25 to 60 °C. If you also want it to hear the glass, the CombiProtect Superior.
How we install it
We fix it above the opening, at 2.4 m, with the normal mount or with the L mount, both of which are included, so that the beam drops right against the sash. We add it by QR code from the app, assign it to its group and walk in front of the window to check the zone and the signal.

Frequently asked questions
Can I move around the house with the alarm armed?
Yes: the beam only detects what crosses in front of the window. Anyone moving inside the room does not set it off, which is why it is used to arm at night with the family inside.
Is it suitable for outdoors?
It is an indoor detector, although with IP54 protection and a wide temperature range. We do not install it outdoors; it goes inside, in the window opening or the terrace door.
