CombiProtect motion and glass break detector, white
Dual detector in white: detects movement with a PIR and the sound of glass breaking, with a 9 m range for large windows.
What it is and what it does
The CombiProtect brings together in one unit a volumetric PIR detector and a microphone that recognises the sound of glass breaking. It can go off for two reasons: someone moves inside or a window is broken. The PIR covers 12 m with 88.5° horizontally; glass break detection, 9 m with 180°. It has pet immunity up to 20 kg, adjustable sensitivity and a CR123A battery.
Who Dartel installs it for
We install it in living rooms with large windows or glass doors in a flat, a house or a shop, on light walls. Without the glass part, a MotionProtect is enough. Compared with the black version, only the colour changes. If you want the Superior range, there is the CombiProtect Superior, white, which states Grade 2 and more panel compatibility.
How we install it
We place it at 2.4 m, in the same room as the glass, with no thick curtains or tall furniture in between. The PIR wants to see the route from the side and the microphone wants to hear the window. We avoid pointing it at the window or putting it above a radiator. It is added with the QR code, and we test the detection zone and the signal.

Frequently asked questions
Does it cover all the windows in the room?
Glass break detection has a 9 m range and 180° aperture. A well-placed detector looks after the glass in the same room; in another room you will need another.
Does it alert if someone covers it?
It has no anti-masking. It does have alarm, tamper and signal LEDs. We put it in a high corner, with a clear field, so that nothing easily gets in the way.
