Grade 3 photo detector from the Superior range in white: HD camera, 15 m field and anti-masking, with photos by scenario or on demand.
What it is and what it does
The MotionCam Grade 3 PhOD Superior is an indoor photo detector from the Superior range. Its PIR covers 15 m with 90° horizontally and filters false alarms with the SmartDetect algorithm. The HD camera sends 1 to 5 photos per detection, and can take them on demand, on a schedule, when arming or disarming or when another detector goes off. It has two tampers and anti-masking, and uses Superior Jeweller and TurboWings up to 3500 m.
Who Dartel installs it for
It is for large or demanding installations, a business or a villa, where Grade 3 is required. In hallways and light areas we recommend this white one; with dark finishes, the black one. Bear in mind that it has no pet immunity: in a home with animals the white MotionCam HD PhOD Superior is a better fit, as it is Grade 2.
How we install it
It goes indoors at 2.4 m, on the SmartBracket with screw lock, looking across the unavoidable route and not pointing at windows, fireplaces or radiators. We add it by QR code. We run the zone test and the signal test, and set up with the customer the image request permissions, which is a privacy decision.

What is anti-masking for?
It detects attempts to block the detector's view, for example by covering it with an object. This Grade 3 model has it, and it also has two anti-sabotage tampers against opening.
How long do the photos take to arrive?
It depends on the resolution chosen: from 3 seconds for the smallest, 160 by 128 pixels, up to 15.5 seconds for the largest, 864 by 720. The more detail, the longer it takes.
