What it is and what it does
The Ajax Doorbell 4 MP video doorbell (GRA finish) has a 4 megapixel (2688×1520) camera with HDR and an angle of 155° horizontally and 90° vertically. Its artificial intelligence separates people, vehicles and pets. It connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, with backup over the Ajax radio. It sees at night with infrared of up to 6 m and stores in Ajax Cloud or on an NVR recorder.
Who Dartel installs it for
We fit it for customers who want a video doorbell that warns when someone approaches and not only when they ring, in a flat, a house or a villa. The GRA finish is one of the two options of this version; the other is the GRE reference, in grey. Compared with a white or black doorbell, it is the choice for those looking for an intermediate tone.
How we install it
We place it next to the front door, at a point with a good view of whoever rings, and check the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal. We add it to the Ajax app and test the two-way audio and the night image. We leave the PIR detector sensitivity adjusted from the app.

Where are the images stored?
In Ajax Cloud or on an NVR recorder. If you already have an Ajax recorder, we connect it to that; if not, the Ajax cloud service covers the storage.
What happens if the Wi-Fi fails?
It keeps a backup connection over the Ajax radio for events and images, in addition to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Even so, we check the coverage when installing it.
