What it is and what it does
The grey Ajax Doorbell 4 MP video doorbell is a doorbell with a 4 megapixel (2688×1520) camera and HDR. It covers 155° horizontally and 90° vertically, recognises people, vehicles and pets using artificial intelligence, and has a built-in microphone and a PIR detector. It uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with backup over the Ajax radio. At night it sees with infrared up to 6 m.
Who Dartel installs it for
We suggest it for the front doors of flats, terraced houses and villas whose frame or wall calls for a neutral tone, neither white nor black. It is the grey version of the range; the other option is the GRA finish. It does not replace a surveillance camera: it looks at the door, not at the street.
How we install it
We fix it next to the front door and first check the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi coverage at that point. We add it to the Ajax app, choose whether the images go to Ajax Cloud or to your NVR recorder, and test the audio and the night vision. You can see it on your phone when we finish.
