Ajax Doorbell video doorbell, white
4 MP Wi-Fi video doorbell with artificial intelligence, PIR detector and two-way audio, in white
What it is and what it does
The white Ajax Doorbell video doorbell is a doorbell with a 4 megapixel (2688×1520) camera for the front door. It has built-in artificial intelligence and a PIR detector of up to 4 m that warns you who is approaching, and not just when someone rings. It lets you talk and listen with noise cancellation, sees at night with infrared up to 6 m and connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
Who Dartel installs it for
We fit it for customers who want to see and talk to whoever rings without going to the door, in a flat, a terraced house or a villa. White suits a light wall or door frame; if the entrance is dark, there is the black one. It is designed for the door, not for watching the street: for that, a camera is better.
How we install it
We place it next to the front door, at a comfortable height for whoever rings, and first check that the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal reaches that point. We add it to the Ajax app, test the two-way audio and the night image, and adjust the PIR detector so that it does not go off at every passer-by.

Frequently asked questions
Can I see it on my phone when I am not at home?
Yes: you view it and answer from the Ajax app. For that it needs 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi at the doorbell's position, which we check before fitting it.
Is it the same as a surveillance camera?
No. Its infrared reaches 6 m and it faces the door. It detects with PIR up to 4 m, but to watch a perimeter the right choice is BulletCam cameras.
Would you like us to install it?
Tell us what kind of home or premises it is and we will say what you need and what you don't. For a flat or a shop with no building work, your floor plan and four photos are enough.
