What it is and what it does
The black Ajax Doorbell video doorbell is an IP video entry unit that integrates into the Ajax ecosystem. Its 4 megapixel camera has artificial intelligence and a PIR detector of up to 4 m. The audio is two-way with noise cancellation. At night it sees up to 6 m with infrared. It transmits over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi using the JetSparrow protocol (P2P) and TLS encryption.
Who Dartel installs it for
We choose it when the entrance has a dark door, frame or wall, and a white doorbell would stand out. It works in flats, houses and villas to know who is ringing and who is approaching. For light walls, the white version. There is also the Doorbell 4 MP in the GRA finish and in grey, from the same range.
How we install it
We fix it next to the front door, at a point that faces whoever rings, after checking that the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi arrives with enough strength. We add it to the Ajax app, test the audio and the night vision, and adjust the PIR detector. By the time we leave, you can already see it on your phone.
