DoorProtect Plus magnetic contact, black
Magnetic contact with vibration and tilt in black: alerts on opening, knocks and attempts to force dark doors and windows.
What it is and what it does
This black DoorProtect Plus detects the opening of a door or window, knocks on the sash and tilt of the detector. It warns of forcing before the door opens. It is Grade 2, with Jeweller radio of up to 1000 m in open space, alarm, tamper and signal LEDs, an ABS plastic cover and a CR123A battery. It includes an auxiliary input for an external NC dry contact.
Who Dartel installs it for
We recommend it on dark or wooden joinery in homes and shops when you want to detect the sash being forced. With light frames there is the DoorProtect Plus, white. If you do not need vibration, the black DoorProtect alerts on opening only and reaches 1200 m. For the sound of glass, the GlassProtect.
How we install it
Indoors, with the transmitter on the frame and the magnet on the sash, with no building work. We add it by QR code from the app and assign it to the arming group. We set with the customer how much vibration should trigger an alert, test with the sash closed and check the radio signal to the panel before we leave.

Will it go off if a door slams at home?
It can, if the vibration exceeds the threshold. That is why we adjust it at the installation to your routine of coming and going, testing on the sash and frame before leaving it armed.
And if it tilts by itself?
It is designed to alert if the detector moves from its original position. It is firmly fixed with screws, so it only tilts if someone moves it or forces the sash or frame.
