DoorProtect Plus magnetic contact, white
Magnetic contact with vibration and tilt in white: alerts on opening and also on knocks or attempts to force the sash.
What it is and what it does
The DoorProtect Plus does the same as the basic contact and adds two sensors: it detects impacts and vibration, and alerts if the detector tilts from its position. So it warns of an attempt to force the sash even if it does not open. It is Grade 2, works by Jeweller with up to 1000 m in open space and has an auxiliary input for an external NC dry contact and a CR123A battery.
Who Dartel installs it for
We put it on ground-floor windows and doors in houses, flats and shops with light frames, where it matters to know someone is forcing before they open. With dark frames, the DoorProtect Plus, black. If alerting on opening is enough, the white DoorProtect, which is part of our kits and has a 1200 m radio range.
How we install it
No cables or building work: the transmitter on the frame and the magnet on the sash. We add it by reading the QR code in the app and assign it to its group. We adjust the vibration sensitivity with the customer, open and gently knock the sash to check that it reacts, and measure the signal to the panel.

How does it differ from the normal DoorProtect?
The normal one only alerts on opening. The Plus also detects vibration and tilt, so it warns of knocks and of attempts to force the sash. It has less radio range: 1000 m against 1200.
Can another device be connected?
Yes, it has an auxiliary input for an external normally closed dry contact, or for a pulse-counting card function. We check each case at the installation.
