White smoke, heat and carbon monoxide detector with replaceable CR123A batteries and an 85 dB siren.
What it is and what it does
The white FireProtect 2 RB is the second generation of our all-in-one detector. It detects smoke, carbon monoxide, a rapid temperature rise and the +64 °C threshold. It runs on two CR123A batteries that are changed without special tools, has an 85 dB siren and a radio range of 1700 m in open space. It can work linked to the panel or on its own.
Who Dartel installs it for
We install it in flats, houses and shops where a single unit must cover fire and carbon monoxide: bedroom corridor, kitchen or boiler room. The white one suits light ceilings. The letters RB mean replaceable battery; with a sealed battery there is the FireProtect 2 SB, black, for dark ceilings. We check the panel you already have before proposing it.
How we install it
We screw it to the ceiling, indoors and with no building work. We add it by reading its QR code in the app, assign it to its group and check the signal from the exact spot. We place it away from windows and radiators, and test the siren with the Test button before we leave. We explain how to change the batteries when the time comes.

Can I change the batteries myself?
Yes. It uses two replaceable CR123A batteries, long-life according to the datasheet. That is what sets it apart from the sealed battery version.
