What it is and what it does
The black FireProtect 2 SB brings four alarms together in one device: smoke, carbon monoxide build-up, a rapid temperature rise and high temperature, with a +64 °C threshold. It has a patented smoke chamber and an 85 dB siren. Its lithium batteries are built in, long-life, and it works linked to the panel or on its own.
Who Dartel installs it for
We install it on dark or beamed ceilings, in homes and shops where we want to forget about changing batteries. The letters SB mean sealed battery: it is not changed, the whole unit is replaced at the end. With replaceable batteries and in white, there is the FireProtect 2 RB, white. We check the panel you have before proposing it.
How we install it
We screw it to the ceiling of the corridor, the kitchen or the boiler room, with no building work. We add it by reading its QR code in the app, assign it to its group and check the signal from the exact spot. We place it away from windows and radiators, and at the end we test the siren with the Test button.

How does it differ from the FireProtect Plus?

Can it be silenced from the mobile?
Yes. The alarm is silenced from the Ajax app or with the detector's Test and Silence button. That way you do not have to climb on anything to silence an alert.
