FireProtect Plus smoke and CO detector, black

Black smoke and carbon monoxide detector, with an 85 dB siren and three response levels depending on CO concentration.

What it is and what it does

The black FireProtect Plus watches for smoke and carbon monoxide at the same time. For fire it uses a photoelectric sensor; for CO, a sensor with three response intervals depending on concentration. The alarm is by light and sound, with an 85 dB siren, and the alert reaches your mobile through the Ajax system. It is indoor equipment, 132 by 132 mm, which goes unnoticed on a ceiling.

Who Dartel installs it for

We install it in flats, houses and shops with a boiler, gas heater or brazier, and on dark or beamed ceilings, where a white circle clashes. It works the same as the white one. It is worth knowing that it does not detect natural gas or butane, and that it does not shut off the gas or the power: it detects and alerts. If the ceiling is light, look at the FireProtect Plus, white.

How we install it

We screw it to the ceiling of the space to be protected, with no building work. We add it by reading its QR code in the app, assign it to its group and check the signal from the exact spot. We place it away from windows and radiators. If you tell us how the house is heated and where the boiler is, we tell you which room each detector goes in before placing them.

Frequently asked questions

Does it alert if there is a gas leak?

No. It detects smoke and carbon monoxide, not natural gas or butane, which need a different detector. Nor does it shut off the gas or the power: it detects and alerts your mobile.

And if the carbon monoxide rises slowly?

The CO sensor has three response intervals depending on concentration, so it does not react the same to a small amount as to a high one. We adjust it when adding it in the app.

Would you like us to install it?

Tell us what kind of home or premises it is and we will say what you need and what you don't. For a flat or a shop with no building work, your floor plan and four photos are enough.
