What it is and what it does
The black HomeSiren Superior does the same indoors as its white sister: it sounds when the system triggers, between 81 and 105 dB at one metre, for as long as you configure, from 3 seconds to 3 minutes. It communicates with the hub over 868 MHz Jeweller radio, so it has no cable. Its LED and a tone confirm arming and disarming. Rear tamper, Grade 2 and two CR123A batteries. It measures 75 by 75 millimetres.
Who Dartel installs it for
We choose it when the wall or ceiling is dark, in premises with careful decor or homes with black joinery, where a white unit would draw attention. If your walls are light, we recommend the white HomeSiren Superior. For indoors only; if you need sound on the facade, go for the StreetSiren.
How we install it
We fix it with its SmartBracket mount and the screw, high up and visible, in a place where the sound spreads through the home and it cannot easily be reached. Then we add it with the QR code in the app, assign it to your group and check the signal. We test the volume with you so that it does not disturb the neighbours more than necessary.

Frequently asked questions
Can you tell it is a siren if it is black?
It is visible, and that is the idea: part of the deterrent effect is that it is in plain sight. Black simply blends it better into dark walls or joinery.
