What it is and what it does
The white StreetSiren is the siren fitted outside, on the facade of a villa or premises. It sounds between 85 and 113 dB at one metre and the duration can be set from 3 seconds to 3 minutes. With IP54 protection and an operating range of -30 to 60 degrees, it withstands winter and summer sun. It links to the hub over Jeweller radio, up to 2000 m in open space, and has a tamper and a flashing LED.
Who Dartel installs it for
We fit it on villas and premises with a facade or porch, and it is part of our alarm kits for villas and for premises or businesses. White goes unnoticed on a light or whitewashed wall. If the facade is dark, there is the black version; if you want something more powerful, the StreetSiren Plus Superior.
How we install it
We decide the height and orientation with you so that it is heard where it needs to be heard, and we check that the radio signal reaches the hub. It is powered by four CR123A batteries or by 12 V from an external supply. We add it by reading its QR code in the app and leave it tested in front of you.

Frequently asked questions
Does it alert anyone by itself?
No. It only sounds and lights up with its LED. The alarm notification reaches your phone, and those of the people you add, through the Ajax system.
Can it go in an outbuilding separate from the house?
Yes, as long as the signal reaches. The stated range is up to 2000 m in open space, although we measure the real one on site, because walls and distances shorten it.
