StreetSiren outdoor siren, black

Black outdoor siren, for dark facades: up to 113 dB at one metre, IP54, tamper and a radio range of 2000 m

What it is and what it does

The black StreetSiren is Ajax's outdoor siren in a dark finish. It reaches 113 dB at one metre and the sound lasts as long as you configure, between 3 seconds and 3 minutes. Its LED flashes when the alarm goes off and confirms arming and disarming, so from the street you can see whether the system is on. It is Grade 2, IP54 and has a tamper, and it communicates by Jeweller radio with the hub, without a cable.

Who Dartel installs it for

We fit it for customers with a dark facade or who do not want the box to stand out from the street, on a villa or on premises. If the wall is light or whitewashed, we will suggest the white StreetSiren. For a detached home, where the neighbour is far away, ask about the StreetSiren Plus Superior.

How we install it

It is a 502 g unit, so the first thing is a good fixing. We mount it at the right height, orient it so that it is heard, and add it to your hub by reading the QR code in the app. We check that the radio signal arrives well and run a sound test with you present.

Frequently asked questions

Does it withstand the rain and heat of the Costa del Sol?

Yes. Its protection is IP54 and it works between -30 and 60 degrees. It is made to be outside all day, and is powered by batteries or by external 12 V.

Does it call anyone when it sounds?

No. A siren alerts with sound and light, but it does not call anybody. It is you who decide what to do with the alert, from the app on your phone.

Would you like us to install it?

Tell us what kind of home or premises it is and we will say what you need and what you don't. For a flat or a shop with no building work, your floor plan and four photos are enough.
