What it is and what it does
The white StreetSiren Plus Superior is the most complete outdoor siren from Ajax. It sounds between 85 and 107 dB at one metre, with the conventional pattern or the NFA2P one, and the duration can be set from 3 seconds to 3 minutes. It withstands rain and knocks: IP54 and IK08, from -25 to 60 degrees. It has a self-test, which checks whether the battery can sustain normal operation, and talks to the hub over Jeweller, up to 1500 m in open space.
Who Dartel installs it for
We fit it on detached houses, large villas or premises where an ordinary sound would fall short. White blends it into light facades. If the wall is dark, there is the black StreetSiren Plus Superior. If you do not need so much equipment, the basic StreetSiren is enough for most homes.
How we install it
Ajax recommends fitting it from 2.5 m up, and that is what we do, out of reach of the hand. At over a kilo in weight, the fixing matters. We take care over the orientation and that it stays within the hub's radio range. We add it by QR code in the app and leave it tested in front of you.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference from the standard StreetSiren?
It is sturdier, with IK08 against knocks, and has a battery self-test and two sound patterns. In return, it is larger and heavier. We explain it with your facade in front of us.
What is it powered by?
By eight CR123A batteries, or by 12 V from an external supply if you prefer to leave it connected. We decide with you which suits better, depending on how close the mains power is.
