Ajax Hub 2 4G alarm panel, black

Black Ajax Hub 2 panel with two 4G (LTE) SIMs for residential estates, basements and country properties where 2G coverage is no longer enough

What it is and what it does

It is the Hub 2 with 4G (LTE) over the mobile network and two SIM cards, as well as the Ethernet cable. It supports up to 100 devices, 50 users and 25 IP cameras or recorder channels, and its 868 MHz radio uses Jeweller and Wings, the latter to carry the photos from the photo detectors. It has an anti-opening tamper and is updated remotely over the air (OTA), without us having to come to the house.

Who Dartel installs it for

It is for homes where 2G coverage is no longer enough: estates with patchy signal, basements or country properties far from town. If there is stable fibre and you will not go over 100 devices or 25 cameras, the Ajax Hub 2 alarm panel, black does just as well. For larger installations, look at the Ajax Hub 2 Plus alarm panel, black.

How we install it

We choose the spot by two criteria at once: that the radio reaches every detector and that there is enough mobile coverage, two things that do not always coincide on the same wall. That is why we measure before fixing. It goes indoors on its SmartBracket with a rear tamper and both SIMs with the PIN disabled; we add each device by QR code and check the signal one by one.

Frequently asked questions

Do we have to come to the house to update the panel?

No. It supports remote OTA firmware updates, so maintaining the panel does not require a visit to your home or anything for you to do.

What comes in the box?

The panel, the power cable and the network cable. Detectors and remotes are bought separately or come in the corresponding kit, and we install them for you on the same visit.

Would you like us to install it?

Tell us what kind of home or premises it is and we will say what you need and what you don't. For a flat or a shop with no building work, your floor plan and four photos are enough.
