Ajax Hub alarm panel, black

Ajax Hub alarm panel in black for living rooms, offices and homes in dark tones, with alerts by cable and over the mobile network

What it is and what it does

The black Hub is the same Ajax alarm panel as the white one: the brain that detectors, remotes and sirens connect to by 868 MHz radio using the Jeweller protocol. It supports up to 100 devices and 50 users, and alerts by Ethernet and GPRS. It has an anti-opening tamper and a backup battery of up to 15 hours. It has no built-in siren: the sound comes from the sirens added to it.

Who Dartel installs it for

We choose it when the panel is in view in a living room or an office, or on wood or a strongly coloured wall, where a white box would stand out. In a light hallway the Ajax Hub alarm panel, white is a better fit. It is for flats and houses with few cameras; if you will go over 10, look at the Ajax Hub 2 alarm panel, black.

How we install it

It goes inside the home on its SmartBracket mount, properly screwed to the wall: the rear tamper alerts you if someone pulls it off. We look for a spot with power nearby and, if you use the cable, a network socket; the SIM is left with the PIN disabled. Then we add each piece by its QR code from the app and check the signal strength detector by detector.

Frequently asked questions

Does the panel itself sound when the alarm goes off?

No: this model has no built-in siren. The sound comes from the sirens added to the system, and the alert also reaches your mobile and that of anyone you name.

How many people can use the system?

Up to 50 users. For a home or a small business that is more than enough: we register the whole family or the staff you tell us.

Would you like us to install it?

Tell us what kind of home or premises it is and we will say what you need and what you don't. For a flat or a shop with no building work, your floor plan and four photos are enough.
