Ajax Hub alarm panel, white

Ajax Hub alarm panel in white: discreet in a hallway or entrance, with up to 100 devices and 10 cameras in the same app

What it is and what it does

The Hub is the Ajax alarm panel: detectors, remotes and sirens talk to it by 868 MHz radio using the Jeweller protocol, and it alerts your mobile. It supports up to 100 devices and 50 users, and connects by Ethernet cable and over the GPRS mobile network, so if the router goes down the alert still goes out. It has an anti-opening tamper and a backup battery that lasts up to 15 hours without power.

Who Dartel installs it for

Dartel installs it in flats and houses that want an alarm with little video, as it integrates up to 10 IP cameras or recorder channels. The white finish disappears against a light wall or ceiling; if your home is in dark tones, there is the Ajax Hub alarm panel, black. With more cameras or dual SIM, the next step up is the Ajax Hub 2 alarm panel, white.

How we install it

We mount it inside the home, never outdoors, on its SmartBracket mount, which has a rear tamper and alerts you if it is pulled off. It needs power nearby and, if you use the cable, a network socket; the SIM is left in with the PIN disabled. We add each device by scanning its QR code in the app, assign it to its group and check the signal one by one before we leave.

Frequently asked questions

How many cameras can I see in the same app as the alarm?

Up to 10 IP cameras or recorder channels. It is worth deciding this before choosing the panel, because changing it later is the most awkward job in your home's system.

Can it go in a garage or a storage room?

Its operating range is +5 to 40 degrees and it is not designed for outdoors. We install it in a closed garage or a storage room without any problem; on an open porch, no.

Would you like us to install it?

Tell us what kind of home or premises it is and we will say what you need and what you don't. For a flat or a shop with no building work, your floor plan and four photos are enough.
