What it is and what it does
The black LeaksProtect is a wireless flood detector that goes on the floor. It alerts your mobile as soon as there is water where it should not be, through the panel, by 868 MHz Jeweller radio with a range of 1300 m in open space. It has IP65 protection, an ABS casing, runs on two AAA batteries and measures 60 by 60 mm and 14 mm high.
Who Dartel installs it for
We install it in bathrooms, kitchens and utility rooms in flats, houses and shops, and above all in homes that spend periods empty, where a small leak becomes an expensive problem. The black one is for dark floors; on a light one, the LeaksProtect, white. It detects and alerts, but does not close the valve.
How we install it
We put it on the floor, at the point where water would arrive first, with no building work or cables. We add it by reading its QR code in the app, assign it to its group and check the signal from the exact spot. If an appliance is moved, the detector moves with it.

Can it close the water valve?
On its own, no: it detects and alerts. If you also want the valve to close, it can be fitted with a solenoid valve. Tell us what your installation is like and we will work it out.
Does it only go in the bathroom?
There is no need to limit it to the bathroom. It works well in the kitchen, under the water heater or next to the washing machine. It is wireless, so it is placed and moved with no building work.
