LightCore 2G2W double two-way switch

LightCore 2G2W double two-way switch: two lights or a corridor with two switches, from the app and without a neutral wire

What it is and what it does

The LightCore 2G2W is a module that goes behind the light switch and leaves it controlled from the app. It is double and two-way: it serves two separate light points or a corridor with a switch at both ends. It works at 230 V without a neutral wire, which is often what is missing in older houses. It is activated by bringing your hand close to the touch panel and talks to the hub over 868 MHz Jeweller radio. It is not a plug.

Who Dartel installs it for

We fit it in flats and houses where one frame controls two lights, such as the living room and the dining room, or where a corridor has a switch at each end. For vertical frames there is the LightCore 2G2W vertical. If you need three or more points for one light, look at the LightCore Cross. It can be added to any Ajax alarm that we install.

How we install it

It goes inside the switch box, with the power cut, work that we do ourselves. First we check how the two circuits are wired. Then we add it by reading its QR code in the app, assign it to the hub, name each light and test that each one responds from the touch panel and from your phone.

Frequently asked questions

Is it for two lights or for two switches?

For both, depending on how it is connected: two independent light points, or one light controlled from both ends of a corridor. We decide in your home with the wiring in view.

My house is old and has no neutral wire. Is that a problem?

Not a problem: this module works without a neutral wire. Even so, we open the switch box and check it before suggesting the installation, so as not to promise something that does not fit.

Would you like us to install it?

Tell us what kind of home or premises it is and we will say what you need and what you don't. For a flat or a shop with no building work, your floor plan and four photos are enough.
