LightCore Cross vertical intermediate switch
LightCore Cross vertical intermediate switch: controls the same light from three or more points, at 230 V and without a neutral wire

What it is and what it does
The LightCore Cross vertical is the Ajax intermediate switch module in vertical format. It lets you control the same light from three or more points, which is common in a long corridor or on a staircase. It goes behind the switch, at 230 V, without a neutral wire, and is activated by bringing your hand close to its touch panel or from the app. It communicates with the hub over 868 MHz Jeweller radio.
Who Dartel installs it for
We fit it for customers with a staircase or corridor with switches at several points who also want to control the light from their phone. It works inside the home, in flats and two-storey houses. If your light only switches on from two points, look at the LightCore 2G2W. It can be added to any Ajax alarm that we install.
How we install it
We fit it in the switch box, behind the switch, with the power cut. First we look at how the intermediate wiring is arranged in your home, because how it connects depends on that. We add it by reading its QR code in the app, assign it to your hub and test that the light responds from each switch and from your phone.

Frequently asked questions
What is an intermediate switch for?
To switch the same light on and off from three or more places, such as the two ends of a corridor and a room in between. With this module, you also control it from the app.
Do I have to change all the switches?
It depends on how the intermediate wiring is arranged in your home. We look at it with the switch boxes open and explain it before we start; we do not touch any switch that is not needed.
Would you like us to install it?
Tell us what kind of home or premises it is and we will say what you need and what you don't. For a flat or a shop with no building work, your floor plan and four photos are enough.
