LightCore Dimmer in vertical format: dims the light from the app or by hand, without a neutral wire, at 230 V
What it is and what it does
The LightCore Dimmer vertical is the same Ajax light dimmer, designed for vertical switch frames. It is fitted behind the existing switch, at 230 V and without a neutral wire, and is activated by bringing your hand close to its touch panel. It can also be operated from the app. It talks to the hub over 868 MHz Jeweller radio. It adjusts the brightness, so it needs dimmable lamps.
Who Dartel installs it for
We choose it when the wall frame is vertical, for example next to a door frame or in a narrow corridor, and you want to dim the light in the room or the hallway. If your frame is horizontal, the LightCore Dimmer is the one for you. It is for indoors. It can be added to any Ajax alarm that we install.
How we install it
We house it in the switch box you already have in the wall, with the power cut, and fit it with its vertical frame. We check that the lamps at that point are dimmable. We add it by reading its QR code in the app, assign it to the room you indicate and test raising and lowering the light from your phone and by hand.

Frequently asked questions
Is it operated by hand only?
The touch panel is activated by bringing your hand close, and you can also dim from the system app. We show you both ways when we finish, so the whole family can use it without doubts.
What if my lamps are not dimmable?
They would not be compatible with a dimmer. We check this beforehand at the light point and, if needed, we suggest replacing the lamps or fitting a non-dimming module.
