What it is and what it does
This black MotionCam HD PhOD Superior is an indoor motion detector with a camera. Its PIR covers 12 m with a 24-zone, 6-plane lens. When it goes off, it sends up to 5 images of up to 960 by 720, and you can request a photo at any moment. It has infrared lighting, HDR and four sensitivity levels. It measures 135 by 70 by 60 mm, weighs 170 g and uses two CR123A batteries. Grade 2, with IP50 protection.
Who Dartel installs it for
We choose it for living rooms, offices and shops with dark walls or wooden furniture, where a white body would draw attention from the door. With light finishes there is the white one. If the job calls for Grade 3 and anti-masking, the MotionCam Grade 3 PhOD Superior, black; if VGA is enough, the MotionCam HDR PhOD, black.
How we install it
It is hung at 2.4 m on the SmartBracket and secured with its screw. We point it at the unavoidable route, away from windows and radiators, and add it by QR code. We test the detection zone and the signal with the panel. And we agree with you who can request images, which is the first thing decided with an indoor camera.

Frequently asked questions
How many photos does it send and how fast?
Up to 5 images per detection, and its datasheet states that sending and receiving take under a minute. They are received in the Ajax app, just like the alarms.
Does it need cabling?
No. It runs on batteries and communicates with the panel by radio: alarms by Jeweller and photos by Wings. The mount just has to be screwed to the wall, with no building work or cables.
