MotionCam HDR photo detector, black
MotionCam HDR photo detector in black: it detects, sends up to five photos to your mobile and blends into dark joinery or walls.
What it is and what it does
This photo detector combines a volumetric PIR and an HDR camera. When it goes off, it sends the app up to 5 images of the scene, at up to VGA resolution, enough to understand what is happening and not to identify anyone. Its field is 12 m with 88.5° horizontally, with a 24-zone, 6-plane lens. Alarms travel by Jeweller and images by Wings, at 868 MHz and up to 1700 m in open space. It is Grade 2 and indoor.
Who Dartel installs it for
We install it in homes and businesses with dark finishes, where the white photo detector would be seen from the door. With light walls we have the MotionCam HDR, white. If, as well as the photos when it goes off, you want to request them at will from the app, you need the MotionCam HDR PhOD, black, and for a higher-range finish, the MotionCam HD PhOD Superior.
How we install it
We mount it at 2.4 m, the height its lens is designed for, screwing the mount and pairing it with the panel. There is no building work. We choose the spot so that it sweeps the unavoidable route and the camera catches the scene head-on, not against the light from a window, and we check the radio range to the panel before closing.

Frequently asked questions
Does it alert if someone covers it with something?
It has no anti-masking, and that is worth knowing. It does have a tamper against opening the casing. That is why we place it with a clear view and out of easy reach.
Does it cover a large living room?
With a 12 m detection field and 88.5° horizontally, mounted at 2.4 m, it covers an ordinary living room. In a very large open-plan floor we can suggest two to share the field.
Would you like us to install it?
Tell us what kind of home or premises it is and we will say what you need and what you don't. For a flat or a shop with no building work, your floor plan and four photos are enough.
