REX 2 NF signal repeater, white

White REX 2 repeater, NF and Grade 2 version, which also accepts a network cable to reach another floor or a warehouse

What it is and what it does

The white REX 2 NF repeats the signal of Hub 2 and Hub 2 Plus hubs over 868 MHz radio with Jeweller and Wings, so the photos from camera detectors also get through. It is the NF and Grade 2 version. What is distinctive is that, besides radio, it accepts an Ethernet connection with firmware 2.13 or later. It allows up to five repeaters per hub. It has an anti-opening tamper and a backup battery of up to 38 hours.

Who Dartel installs it for

We fit it in businesses, warehouses and multi-storey houses where getting through floor slabs or crossing a building by radio is not reliable and a network cable can be run. Also when an NF and Grade 2 version is required. If you do not need that, the black REX 2 does the same job by radio. White suits light walls.

How we install it

We fix it indoors, near a socket and away from metal cabinets. If we use the network cable, we run it to the repeater from the router or the switch of the premises. We add it by reading its QR code in the Ajax app, assign the detectors that will depend on it and check the signal of each one before we leave.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with an older Hub?

No. The REX 2 works with Hub 2 and Hub 2 Plus. If you still have a Hub or a Hub Plus, the repeater that applies is the REX; we go through it in the proposal.

What is the Ethernet connection for?

To join the repeater to the hub by network cable when you have to cross a building or reach another floor, instead of relying on radio alone. It requires firmware 2.13 or later.

Would you like us to install it?

Tell us what kind of home or premises it is and we will say what you need and what you don't. For a flat or a shop with no building work, your floor plan and four photos are enough.
