REX signal repeater, white
White radio repeater for anyone who already has a Hub or a Hub Plus and needs the signal to reach the garage or a dead zone

What it is and what it does
The white REX signal repeater picks up the hub's radio signal and re-transmits it, so that a detector that used to lose coverage joins the system like any other. It works only with Hub and Hub Plus: with the first it extends to up to 99 devices and with the second to 149. It plugs into the 110 to 240 V mains and has a 2 A·h Li-Ion backup battery, so it keeps repeating if the power goes off. It is an indoor device.
Who Dartel installs it for
It is for anyone who already has a Hub or a Hub Plus installed and does not want to change the hub. In new installations we fit the Hub 2, and then the repeater that applies is the REX 2. White suits light walls and ceilings, where it is barely visible. If the corridor or wall is dark, there is the black REX.
How we install it
We fix it indoors, halfway between the hub and the area with the poor signal, near a socket and away from metal cabinets. We add it by reading its QR code in the Ajax app and check the signal of every detector that hangs from it before we leave. That way the garage detector talks to the hub through the repeater and not on its own.

Frequently asked questions
My alarm has an older Hub. Does this repeater suit me?
Yes, the REX works with Hub and Hub Plus. If you later change the hub for a Hub 2, this model will no longer work for you and the repeater that applies is the REX 2.
What happens with the garage if the power goes off?
It has a 2 A·h Li-Ion backup battery, so the repeater keeps passing on the detectors' signal. Even so, the hub must also keep its own backup power.
Would you like us to install it?
Tell us what kind of home or premises it is and we will say what you need and what you don't. For a flat or a shop with no building work, your floor plan and four photos are enough.
