What it is and what it does
The black StreetSiren Plus Superior is the Superior-range outdoor siren, in black. It sounds between 85 and 107 dB at one metre and the duration can be set from 3 seconds to 3 minutes. You choose between the conventional pattern and the NFA2P one. It has IP54 and IK08, a self-test that checks the battery, a tone of 1,400 to 1,600 Hz and Jeweller radio with a range of 1500 m in open space. Its LED indicates alarm, arming and disarming.
Who Dartel installs it for
We fit it on detached houses or villas with a dark facade, where the nearest neighbour is far away and it matters that the sound carries. On a light facade, the white StreetSiren Plus Superior suits better. If you do not need so much equipment, the smaller black StreetSiren also does the job.
How we install it
From 2.5 m up, as Ajax recommends, out of reach of the hand. We take care over the orientation and that it stays within the hub's range, because whether it sounds depends on that. We add it by reading its QR code in the app, assign it to your group and test it with you present before we leave.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know if it has battery left?
The self-test checks it for you: the system verifies whether the charge allows normal operation, rather than finding out on the day it sounds. It uses eight CR123A batteries or external 12 V.
Can it be heard throughout the house?
It is heard mainly outside, which is its job. For sound inside the home we pair it with an indoor siren, or with a keypad with a siren such as the KeyPad Combi.
