TurretCam 5 MP camera, white

White 5 MP turret camera for indoors and outdoors, with 50 m infrared and PoE cable; seen in the same app as your Ajax alarm

What it is and what it does

The white TurretCam 5 MP is an IP camera for watching the entrance, the porch or a corridor, inside or outside the home. It records at 5 megapixels (2880×1620) with a 100° to 110° angle, and True WDR/HDR balances very bright and dark areas. At night it sees with infrared up to 50 m. It can store video on a microSD card of up to 256 GB, has a microphone and is viewed from the same app as your Ajax alarm.

Who Dartel installs it for

It is the camera Dartel mounts in flats and townhouses with a light façade, whitewashed eaves or painted porches, where white goes almost unnoticed. It is part of the camera kit for a flat or townhouse. If the wall is dark, there is the black TurretCam 5 MP; if you want white light at night, the white Dual Light; and for identifying at a greater distance, the 8 MP one.

How we install it

We run it by PoE network cable to the recorder or the switch: data and power arrive by that same cable, so no socket is needed on the façade. We hang it at a height that keeps the face in frame without anyone being able to reach it, avoiding it looking straight into the sun. We add it by reading its QR code in the app, check the framing and leave the recording adjusted.

Frequently asked questions

Does it need a socket nearby?

No. It runs on a PoE network cable that carries power and video at the same time to the recorder or the switch. On the façade only that cable remains, with no power socket.

Does it record if the recorder is off?

It has a microSD slot of up to 256 GB, so it can store video in the camera itself. With several cameras, the recorder is still the practical way to search by time.

Would you like us to install it?

Tell us what kind of home or premises it is and we will say what you need and what you don't. For a flat or a shop with no building work, your floor plan and four photos are enough.
